Nicole + Johnny Ferri
Great Expectations opened in downtown Georgetown on October 1, 1999. Today Nicole and Johnny operate as a two-person team, keeping the studio calm and the attention personal.
Nicole Michelle Ferri
Nicole has been licensed since 1991. Her career has included full-service salon work, esthetics training, education with international brands, Goldwell presentation and education work, and twelve years with the production company behind the Golden Curl Image Awards.
She created Great Expectations with a simple idea: a salon that felt more like a living room—comfortable, positive and without judgment.
Johnny Ferri
Johnny joined Great Expectations in 2011 after a career that began in Yorkville. He has more than 30 years of experience, has taught and done show work for hair companies, and has appeared on Breakfast Television.
He specializes in colour, highlighting and extensions. He also designs and builds custom wooden pieces showcased inside the studio.

Still learning
Nicole and Johnny continue to attend courses and in-salon education covering new techniques, cutting methods, colour and products.
